Summer 2013 Road trip through California...

The summer of 2013 road trip in California. We started our road trip in Nevada where we flew into Reno. From there, we went to Lake Tahoe. This place is GORGEOUS!!! I'll let the pictures do all the talking.

Next Stop on the road trip adventure is none other then the AMAZING and BREATHTAKING Yosemite National Park.. Once again, I'm just going to let the picture do all the talking.. One of the most incredible place I've ever visited.

Gosh, these pictures really doesn't do this place justice. Just GO!!! You won't regret it..
Next stop is Mammoth.. This place does not compare to Yosemite but worth seeing. We stayed here for the day and decide to leave due to campsites being full. I manage to snap one picture here.

After leaving Mammoth we took a long drive to Malibu...  Well actually we decided to stop before getting to Malibu to rest our head at a camp site. I forget what town we stopped in and what the name of the camp site is.  Nothing to brag about. It is somewhere at the end of the Sierra Nevada Mountains on the South end. California is going through a crazy drought so unfortunately this once beautiful and lush area is dry as a desert and Jude sees tumble weed for the first time. But none the less, here are some pics.

Pictures of the dry area.. Notice the browness of it all. Jude in the tent because there isn't very much to take pictures of. Then there is the breakfast that was pretty tasty and a picture of the place that served the breakfast. On to the next stop.. MALIBU...
Jude loved Malibu. I thought the water was too cold so I opted to stay on dry land. Jude on the other hand swam like a fish. Love that little fellow..
Welp of-course there are pictures.. Evidence of the adventure is always good and memoirs are even better... Enjoy..

On to the next destination... Highway 1 drive down the California Coast for some breathtaking views. Hard to believe one State can hold soooo much beauty..  And of-course, pictures... Santa Monica..

This was some Beach in Santa Monica and some place we camped. I really don't remember the name of the beach and I definitely don't remember the camp site. It was some California state Park.
On to the next destination.
Moro Rock formation. Looks a lot more neater in person. Pictures never seem to do anyone or thing justice, me included. I look awesome in person :) and not in pics, that's why there isn't any pics of me.
Ok.. More pics of Moro Rock. There is an interesting story behind this rock formation that Jude probably remembers. If you are interested in the story Google it.

The odd rock formation that had some interesting story behind it. Just don't remember what it was . :)

This Place was so Yummy. These oyster came right from around that rock formation. YUMMY!!

I Like this picture. This place was the outside sitting that served those oysters that are so YUMMY!!!.

I want to remember the restaurant just in case I ever get to go back..

On to the next stop. So the next few pictures are just places we decided to stop and take pictures along the Highway 1 drive through the coast of California.
Love Love Love Love Love the drive. For those of you who have never been. IT IS A MUST DO!! I'll let the picture tell ya why..

The last few Pics are of Big Sur and Big Sur State Park. This place is simply amazing. Very romantic!! A definitely must must must goooo!!!!! Gorgeous and ginormous red wood trees. These pics doesn't capture the ginormity (I know not a word) of it all.
So More Pics. The Next Stop is Half Moon bay where we stayed at the most fancy of fancy Hotels. The Ritz Carlton on Half Moon Bay. ABSOLUTE AWESOME. I felt like I was on lifestyle of the rich and famous.  Jude even made up some rich accent that sounded like a horrible english accent. :) That kid cracks me up. Awwwe how we love pretend rich. How we love the beauty and luxury of it all.

Welp, heres to sharing the wealth. Enjoy the photos.
This was our view. I felt like I lived on top of a Mountain.( Right at the top, This beautiful view from the top of the mountain (Bjork).

The photo of the hotel from a distance. That was the Castle we had the privilege to stay in for a day.
                                                                More awesome views.

                                                                Jude soaking it all in.

Our relaxing fire pit at the hotel.

                                                    The view from our window.

Sometimes I wonder how a single mother can get so lucky. :).. Definitely couldn't ask for a better life. After Half moon bay we made it back to Reno, Nevada where we will fly off back to reality of Houston. The drive right before Reno was gorgeous.
This was an amazingly beautiful trip. I feel very lucky to have the opportunity to take on such an adventure with one of my favorite person in the world, JUDE.
Thanks to my Man who made this possible for us.
