8/2015 Norther Cali and Oregon.

We are off on an adventure to Northern California and Oregon. Our adventure started with ironically us randomly grabbing coca cola and I grad share coke with your sidekick and Jude grabs a coke that says share with an adventurer. This was so random but true!!

Our first stop is Portolan state park in Cali.. We drove through a very narrow windy road to get here and it would have been a great camp site except our neighbor were some loud and obnoxious campers.. 

Our next stop is Redwood State and National park. Where we made a stop at Priarie Creek Redwood SP. We took a hike and embarrassing we got lost and hiked way out in creepy dense forest where I ran into 2 snakes!!!! Then we somehow found our way back to the main road where we had to walk 4 miles back to our camp site!! It started out fun though and ended up very scary !! Here are the pics along the hike. 

We do take a super long hike that I mistakenly thought goes in circles but didn't so we go through scary narrow trails and ran into 2 snakes in the process!! Freaking scary!! Finally found our way out of the woods to the road and had to walk 4 miles back to our camp site . Poor Jude was a great sport but had to endure mom'a horrible sense of directions..

Such a magical experience to see such an amazing site! 

Our next stop is Crater Lake National park.. We hiked down to jump in this amazing lake.. Water so cold and crystal clear. Jude is brave and jumps right in. Typical kiddo! 

Arizona and Utah 6/4/15-6/14/15

On to our next adventure!!  We took a flight into Phoenix and rented a car to get our adventure started.

 Our first stop Sedona, Arizona. This is a small cute town surrounded by Red Rocks! We both enjoy this small town.

Our second stop in Sedona is Slide Rock State park. This place was amazing with clear water amougst red rocks that are slippery enough to slide down. Jude truly enjoyed this place and I enjoyed the beauty of or all. 

We have an amazing time here!!! 

Our next destination is the Grand Canyon North Rim. This is less popular and smaller then the south rim. To get there from Sedona, there is a drive through desolate red rocky formations then finally through open fields of greenery. 

Above is our drive pics.. Finally we make it to the Grand Canyon North rim and love it. 

We spend a day hiking here then take off to Zion national park. This park is amazing!!!

Our first hike was so super scary!!! Angels Landing.. So georgeous when we made it up and actually survived it ! The view from a top definitely made the frightful experience worth all the while.  It was absolutely georgeous and breath taking..

Another part of Zion is The Narrows Simply amazing .. Literally a hike through a river formation between two canyons. I absolutely loved this hike..

This went on for miles and miles we spent a good 6 hours on this hike.

Our next stop Bryce national park.. Very impressive and surreal. At times it felt like a walk into Mars.. Those who travel here must hike in... 

Our next stop is Paige AZ where we make a stop at Antelope canyon.. 

Simply an amazing site on an Indian reservation.

Our last stop on this amazing trip is Horse Shoe Bend.
